Displaying channel entry as text file?

Hello, I am running ee 2.9.2.
I would like to generate tab-delimited text files from data in channel entries. Any ideas on how to do this? Are there plug ins?
We use EE to track our inventory production, and it would be great to be able to generate a txt file that we can save and then upload into some of our third party software.

EE generates text. It only becomes HTML because we mark it up to be so. Try creating a stripped down template - and possibly you’ll have to set it to XML type.
