Error: Unable to allocate memory for pool

I am completely stuck. I keep getting this error message (Unable to allocate memory for pool) and it’s making it very, very hard to update my site through the CMS. I tried doing what it said in this thread, but it’s still not working: https://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/231518/. Please HELP!

Does anyone out there have any idea how to help with this error? It’s still causing a lot of problems, and I have no idea how to fix it.
