Unicode display in control panel

Hi,
I used to have channel name and category name in unicode and everything is displayed correctly in EE 2.8.2.
However, I now use EE 2.9.2 and my category name and channel name are not display correctly in unicode. However, when I edit it then I can see the string in unicode is display correctly in the text box.

Hi,
Anyone, or at least ca point a direction to look at? EE seems to support unicode but not consistently across the system.
