Share channel in CP on MSM site

Hi,

I have an MSM site, currently with two sites, where a couple of channels contain data used by both sites.

I wonder if it is possible to enter data into these “shared” channels from the CP on both sites? The sites are in different languages, and the CP for each site is in the respective language. However, I would like editors on both sites to be able to create and edit data in the shared channels (which are language independent, mostly numerical data).
