We lost our site at our host location. Fortunately had a backup albeit old. Uploaded all the files from the backup. The site is running but only the pages and their associated templates are showing. None of the page detail is showing. I am assuming it may be due to the version of ExpressionEngine that is installed. The config.php file shows:

$conf[‘doc_url’] = “http://expressionengine.com/docs/”;

Can anyone tell me if this is correct?
Any thoughts as to why the page contents are not appearing? Should I install the newest version of ExpressionEngine? If I do, is there any danger of losing the website contents already uploaded?

I am totally unfamiliar with ExpressionEngine as you can see and just trying to get the site running if even possible.

With EE content lives in the database. An entire EE site consists of the EE files & folders + the database where the content (and a bunch of other stuff) lives.

Did you get a backup of the database from the previous web host?
