Autosave entries not working properly

Hi All,

I am running into some difficulties with the built in autosave functionality. When i fill out the form with all required field and do nothing for a couple of minutes, the autosaved at XX:XX message appears. So far so good, but when i then leave the page to do something else and then try to access this “autosaved” entry, it isn’t there..

When i create an entry, save it, then edit that entry and wait for a couple of minutes it does again say “autosaved at XX:XX”. When i try to edit this entry it does show up in the Autosaved entries list. So the problem seems to be with newly created (unsaved) entries only.

Anyone else experiencing this? Or is this just the way it is supposed to work?

EE version: 2.7.3 - builddate 20131210
