What's the minimum fields a EE registration page must contain?

Hi,

I’m trying to get my registration form to be as tiny as possible, and on others (non-ee) we often see just EMAIL and PASSWORD then a submit button.

Has anyone had any luck getting this down to this level? Is it possible?
