BASE isn’t set if it’s not a control panel request, but if it’s not a control panel request then you probably should be using actions anyways. Can you try using BASE instead and tell me what the result is? We’re planning on releasing within a week so I’ll need your feedback soon.

This issue was fixed before EE 2.8.0 released. Derek was just asking me why we were doing it this way.
