FEATURE REQUEST - Simple Commerce recurring purchase email notifications

I don’t see an official place to log feature requests, so hopefully this will be read by someone at EllisLab who can add it to a feature request bucket…

It would be really helpful to have an email notification option in SCM for recurring payments that sends a reminder/notice BEFORE a recurring payment expires or renews through Paypal subscriptions.

It looks like the Membrr module has this feature for Paypal recurring payments, but I’m not confident I want to use third-party module in a new client installation based on recent Devot-ee reviews – and it really does seem like heads-up payment notifications would be a logical extension of allowing recurring payments to begin with! 😊
