booking form - stores booking, loads view and then refreshes losing all php variables and submit button

Hi All,

I have a frustrating problem on my website. I am trying create a booking form which once submitted, adds the booking to the database and goes to another view to get more information from the customer, on this view I get the variables from the initial post to display in a summary column.

The booking is being stored correctly in the database so the model and controller pages are working correctly but when the second form loads with the summary information, it loads and the the page reloads losing any php variables and the submit button.

Any advice would be appreciated. I am a codeigniter newbie so want to learn as much as possible.
