EE 2.7 Channel Forms Delete entry link

With safecracker we had the capability of using the

{exp:delete:link  
id="{entry_id}" 
type="Deal" 
template="profile/delete" 
alert="true"}
Delete
{/exp:delete:link}

But now it doesn’t work like that, but I can’t find anything in the docs that covers what is replacing the previous short codes. Anyone out there have a solution? I need to be able to allow a member using a custom made portal to be able to delete the entries if needed.
