CRON Recount Statistics

Hello,

I’m looking for some help recounting the stats for ‘channel entries’ on a regular basis, I’m not sure if I would be able to use this plugin or not: http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/expressionengine-cron

Due to a plugin we’re using that syncs disqus comments with the EE comments, we have to run ‘recount statistics’ for the channel entries so that the comment total field is updated. Obviously it’s not feasible for us to do this every hour, so we’d like to CRON it if possible?
