I’ve got a channel entries page where I would like to have a related articles module of sorts at the bottom of it. I was thinking of doing something like this:
{exp:channel:entries orderby="date" channel="videos" search:full_game_title="{last_segment}" limit="3"}So it would only show the videos which are related to the last_segment of the page URL the user is on, if that makes sense?
My only issue is that it’s not showing any results if I have dynamic=”yes” on (I assume that’s because it would only return the one result pertaining to the page) but if I have dynamic=”no” it obviously can’t use the last_segment of the URL.
Any ideas?
What fieldtype are you using to create the relationship?
Just a normal text-field. I haven’t ironed it out yet but for it would equally work if I were to use the title fields, with the plan being to search the titles of one channel to produce 3 related entries to the one the user is on.
Can you only use one dynamic channel:entries on each page?
