I am migrating an old ee site to a new server and have very generic question about migration. I exported the db as an sql file and would like to import into the new install.
Do i have to recreate all the channels and field groups in the new install before attempting the sql import? Also, when i exported the db i used the following specs: sql format and default settings from mysql:
