While EE’s auto-xml formatting can be exciting, it isn’t for RSS feeds. I noticed today that in chrome my RSS feed is erroring because of an unknown character

“error on line 339 at column 107: Entity ‘rsquo’ not defined”

This is because EE is being “smart” and converting quotes for me.

Is their a way to disable this on the fly? I don’t need it permanently gone because it does work well on pages.

I’ve had similar problems when outputting for APIs to read so I don’t want to just define rsquo for RSS.
