Error on trying to install EE on wamp server

When I try to install expressionengine to my local wamp server, I get this error:
Your config file does not appear to be formatted correctly.
Anyone else have this problem?

Did you open the config file to see what it has ?

are you going to localhost/siteDIR/admin.php
If you load up ‘localhost/siteDIR’ before setting it up you get that config error.

It has been resolved, just had some issues with folder structure.
