We’d like to know what channel entries are logged-in members are visiting?

Is there a plug-in to track this?

SolSpace Tracker doesn’t seem to do this, neither does the EE “Statistics” module.

Thanks!

I don’t know of any particular plugins, and don’t know if EE tracks users that closely to begin with so I went 3rd party.

I’ve been trying out Woopra for a few months. Through the API you can pull in the user name & email and track users habits that way. Even automatically tag them based on actions, and run scripts based on rules. EG, subscribe a user to a product newsletter if they show a lot of interest in the product. It’s a very slick tracking service, but they know it when it comes to pricing.

So I’m currently working with Piwik, an open source tracking package (tracks unique visitors, and logs IPs) and figuring out how to do the same with it. I’m sure it can be done, but its API is a little more involved.

Thanks Chriiiiso!

I signed up for Woopra. It is definitely something we could use.

I have pulled in username and email into the visitor tracking. So, that’s a big win!

How do you track who users are? Are you venturing into tracking people logged into the site via Facebook or twitter?

Sorry I never replied, guess the forum doesn’t notify like it used to for some reason. I actually use the Solspace User addon (http://www.solspace.com/software/detail/user/), and first/last name the user provides at registration. Not sure if the built in membership allows custom fields to do that. I haven’t bothered messing with Facebook login or anything.
