I’m working on a site with members and a loggin section. A visitor of the website can registrate but the ‘superadmin’ must activate the account. So far i have it work that if the member registrate the ‘superadmin’ and the ‘visitor’ gets a email (using module MX Notify Control ).
Know i want that when the ‘superadmin’ the account activate, the ‘visitor’ get a email that his account is activated and that he can login.
I used all the different options of ‘MX Notify Control’ but I do not get this to work.
Can someone help me with this?
I think, you are registering the members with the preference of “Manual Activation by an administrator”.
Go to CP -> Members -> Activate Pending. Here you can see all the pending members and below the list there is a checkbox with “Send email notification to each person”.
From here superadmin can activate and send the email notification to activated members.
You can update this email template from CP -> Design -> Message Pages -> Email Notifications -> Member Account Validation Notification
