Adding categories to multi edit form

Hi

I am looking into the possibility of adding a category select option into the multi edit form for channel entries.

I have looked into the system > expressionengine > views > content > multi_edit.php and was wondering if this would be possible, if so, where would be a good place to start.

Any advice appreciated.
