Control Panel Additions

Hi,

I am developing a plugin/module and would like to be able to add some html to the control panel. I know I can use the ‘cp_menu_array’ hook to add a menu item, and I know about the css and js hooks, but I was wondering if there was any way of injecting additional html? I’d like the html to be show all of the time in either the footer or header?
