I’ll chime in to say that my team uses Beanstalk as well. I’ve tried the Codebase / Deploy combo to compare and, although it has some nice features, I ended up preferring the focused nature of the Beanstalk app.

Now I’m just waiting/hoping for a Beanstalk for Mac app similar to the very tempting Github for Mac app. 😉

Hint, hint, nudge, nudge.

Would anybody be interested in working with us to write a “Definitive guide to deploying EE with Beanstalk”?

Can anyone let me know if this document happened? I’m moving over to source control for the first time (emacs SSH’ed on live server at the moment) and would appreciate a heads up on best practices.

Thanks jfp

I don’t know about definitive, but I did write a couple of articles about my approach: Part 1 & Part 2.
