Anyone interested in customizing MX Notify (for a fee) to allow group notification of new forum posts? See http://www.eec.ms/forums/viewthread/59/

You might check out DevDemon’s Forum Subscribe Add-on ($10):

I’m using it on a site right now and it seems to be working quite well.
