Just uploaded the first image to a brand new install of EE with empty files and got this error:
File Already Exists A file with that filename already exists. You can either choose a new name and the file will be renamed, or you can use the same name and the existing file will be overwritten.
The file didn’t already exist, but it did have a image title of:
Block 49 night rendering.jpg
with spaces and all.
The file did need renaming, but not for the reasons stated in the error, so the error was misleading in this case.
The good news is that this will prevent our clients from using file names with spaces, but we’ll either need a second error message to display when file name formatting is really the issue, or combing that information into the existing error.
