CodeIgniter -> EE2 as EE Module - Multiple ’controllers’

Hi

I’ve got a fairly complex CI app at the prototype stage which I am planning to port across to EE.

I have read through the developer documentation and am pretty happy with the whole ‘Module’ development concept. But there is one question to which I cannot find an answer either in the docs or in the forums:

Can I have multiple CI style ‘controllers’ within a single EE Module? I know that I can have a folder for models and another for C-Panel views - but at the moment my CI app has around seven controllers and I don’t really want to have to roll them all up into one massive class.

However - I can’t create an individual EE module/plugin/add-on for each controller, as they share models.

I’m sure I’m missing something obvious here - hope someone can help!

Hi, Charlie.

Let me move this over to the developer forum so that other members of the community can help.
