I have just started in EE2 and have found the user guide very useful: http://ellislab.com/expressionengine/user-guide/index.html
And trainee: http://www.train-ee.com/
Also there is a book by called ‘Building an ExpressionEngine 2 Site - Small Business’, see here: http://www.train-ee.com/courseware/books/detail/building-an-expressionengine-2-site-small-business/
What I am finding is that with EE2 you have to throw the “I want it for free” mentality out of the window. Be prepared to pay for add-ons and guides. The pay-off for this seems to be that once you have collected a few key add-ons/resources you’ll have a powerful CMS and the knowledge to use it.
