Form action url to renamed index.php file not working

I have a form action set to a renamed index.php file:
<FORM action="http://domain.com/renamed_file" method="post">The problem is that nothing happens and it just renders a blank screen when the form is submitted.
Any suggestions on what might be going on?

This thread can be closed.
The form wasn’t passing the correct action id due to an error in the db table. After updating the module install script with a correct insert into the actions table all is good.
