I’m thinking this is something easy to fix but I can’t seem to figure it out.

I’ve built a “box” as a template used on many pages that contains a list entires. On top level pages is shows all of the entires but as you drill down the same template shows only one entry.

See the box labeled News Coverage and Publications…

Works shows top 3 entries: http://184.168.85.192/beta/index.php/site/events-and-activities

Same embedded template but it only shows one entry: http://184.168.85.192/beta/index.php/in-the-news-entry/news_title_3

Can I nest templates like this? What am I doing wrong?

Hi Tim,

Not sure which version of ExpressionEngine you’re using but if you add in the dynamic=”off” (ExpressionEngine V1.x) or dynamic=”no” (ExpressionEngine V2.0) parameter to that weblog / channel tag then you should see this start working again hopefully.

If it does work then it’s simply because you are on a page which has a url_title - news_title_3 in it and so the weblog / channel tag will see this and only show that one entry. Providing the correct parameter above will relieve this problem.

Hope that helps a bit.

Best wishes,

Mark
