Looking for a great Blogging plugin

Has anyone come across a great blogging plugin for EE? We are setting up a blog that is going to look and act a lot like Smashingmagazing.com (with different content) and we haven’t been able to find a solid plugin that has all of that functionality yet.
Your help is appreciated.

Blogging is built into EE using the native channel module, you don’t need any special add-ons for it. You can find an example in the Agile Records news channel and templates.

Lisa thanks but it seems that the posting is limited to one photo per post unless we add a WYSWIG plugin like CKEditor. But that editor is still cumbersome. Does EE allow you to add images within the text field and have them alignable?

Hi, kingdesign - if you need a gallery per entry, I’d recommend looking at Matrix or Channel Images.
But yes, you can put as many image links into a textarea as you want, and you can have them automatically put in with a class of your choice, so you can style via CSS.
