Hi, I am developing a website for a client, they are a non-profit organization with 4 separate “arms”. the website I am working on can be viewed here http://hosted.dfatech.ca:10080/ each of the menu items at the top is a separate section of the organization. The problem is, as of now, only the trails section needs a login, in the future, the other the other groups may want a member section to their part of the website. Each section is a separate channel.

Does anyone know a way in EE that would allow for the member to log in only to the one channel?

Sure. You’d create 4 member groups, and assign them access to the proper channel via the membergroup privileges.

THere are also conditionals you can use at the template level to check the membergroup of the logged in member and serve up different content if need be.

Or you could create member-group-specific templates and set access at the template configuration level.
