Import from XML File

Hi,
We have a client that stores all data on their employees in a CRM. We have received an assignment to make their new intranet, and then they want to use the same login information each employee has to CRM. I know it is okay to use the “Import from XML File” but when someone gets hired they want that the same login information (in CRM) is automatically carried over to EE.
So my question is really whether it is possible to run some sort of cron job on the “Import from XML File”?

Check out DataGrab. I used it recently to digest several XML files from an external source, and it gives you some good documentation on setting up a cron to re-run your saved imports.

We use Datagrab for the same client, but I’m afraid you cant use Datagrab for importing members - http://brandnewbox.co.uk/forums/viewthread/201/
