Hello,

I am going to be installing EE2.1 on a Windows 2008 server. I have used ImageMagik on Linux in the past, but I’m not familiar with NetBPM or GD. Does anyone know if one of these will work better than another on a Windows Server or any recommendations overall?

Thanks. Cindy

I would go with the GD library (although haven’t tried using it on Windows before, I assume it works). It’s pretty well known and supported.

For an example of how to use it check out the timthumb image resizing script (http://timthumb.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/timthumb.php), that’s a really handy script I’ve used in the past to generate thumbnails on the fly.
