Custom entry tabs with custom layouts - bug or doing it wrong?

Hi Guys,
I am facing the same problem as Darren.
- Fresh install of EE 2.1
- No custom build modules
- Structure 2.1.2
- NSM Better Meta
After saving a custom layout (removing ping tab, removing category tab and some custom fields, just for testing), all the fields are removed.
When I remove my custom layout (and refresh), all the fields are resetted to the orginal state (see attachment).
- This behaviour happens for Super Admins and new member groups
Is this a bug? Or is their something wrong with a installed third-party module? Structure?

It’s definitely a bug in the core EE- https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/detail/13300/. Same bug is affecting non-English localizations. It’s fixed up for the next release, but the fix itself is a bit complex to try and hack in.
next release is??? quite a pain here trying to build a site that this is getting in the way of!
Yes, when is the next release? I am having this same issue, even posted a thread in the boards about it (with no response…)
Really need to know when this will be fixed! My client is expecting the module that I created for their project, and it doesn’t function correctly (won’t pass QA) until the core problem is resolved.

this specific problem was solved quite a long time ago! Have you updated?! Or are you experiencing another problem?
