CK editor integrated with EE2 file manager - any interest?

Hi all

I’ve recently completed an EE2 project which involved making a custom field type with CK Editor integrated with the EE2 file manager - so that when you “browse server” the native file manager pops up rather than the CK Editor one.

My original plan had been to release this to the community once it was finished and working. Well, it works just fine but having used it a bit, I don’t like it! Our issue is that the native file manager is only good for a few files. Once you get into hundreds you need subfolders. I’m considering mothballing the whole thing and going in a different direction.

I just wanted to see if there’s any interest in a such a tool from the community - if there is I might keep it going
