I’m pleased to present JMS Title Tailor.
This extension allows you to re-label the default Title and URL Title fields on a per-weblog basis so that they make more sense in whatever context you’re using them.
(The change is made purely on your publish forms - you must still use {title} and {url_title} in your templates).
[Edit] v.1.0.1 uploaded: bug fix for maintaining titles for newly created weblogs…
Awesome James.
I actually might use this for a client project today. They’re multi-regional so there are fields for Title (UK), Title (AU) etc. The actual entry title is used for the US title. Now I can remove confusion by turning it into Title (US) with your handy extension.
I’ll give it a go in a bit 😊
Nice, just wanted to throw this out there, that Max Lazar has a similar extensions that allows you to change the Title field label for each weblog and (optionally) for each language:
Change url’s title its good idea. BTW as I understand the principals of your ext. works, it’s better to add to description that it’s works only with English language, because you used word Title as marker for replace.
p.s. good news – just 5 minutes ago I found way to port Title Control to EE2. New version will ready in one day.
