Template IDE - Introducing Bespinee ALPHA!

Hi all,

Introducing Bespinee, the template code editor. This new extension is the beginning of a fully functional Expression Engine Template IDE that is 100% web based. Built on the bespin embedded API.

Place the bespinee folder into system/expressionengine/third_party

Please note this is a EE2 only extension.

HOW TO USE: Simply upload as above and enable the extension, then visit a template edit screen. Click into the template text area and a Bespin icon will appear on the right side of the textarea. Just click the icon and WOWSERS, beautiful code.

Features coming very soon:

• Expression Engine tag highlighting
• More advanced HTML and PHP code highlighting, with themes. (think textmate)
• EE tag insert buttons for common tags and global variables, and even:
• Third Party tag inserts (hosted tag libraries)
• External Code revision backups
