Hi - i’ve installed the NSM Live Look extension for EE 2.0 according to http://github.com/newism/nsm.live_look.ee_addon/ but i can’t get past ‘Configuration’
When you install this plug-in then go to ..
Add-ons -> Extensions -> NSM Live Look -> ‘Enable’
I’ve then hit ‘Install’ and installed the extension, field type and module. When this is all installed and you go back to Add-ons -> Extensions - you see there’s a ‘Settings’ link active. When you go into ‘Settings’ there’s a list of tags you can use and there are options at the bottom
(1) Channel Title Preview URL Use page URL?
(2) Add another preview URL?
But the above 2 options are text not links or text fields?
So basically there’s nothing i can do to enter preview URLs for this plug-in to be able to generate a preview for me? - therefore when you go to a page in edit view - you do see the link but there are a tonne of PHP warnings about the facet there isn’t a preview URL set?
I’ve tried contacting the Plug-in author but they haven’t got back yet - anyone else help with this?
Hi Thanks for getting back!
I’ve upgraded my EE to the most recent 2.02 version - now LIVE LOOK no longer works? - i’ve email Leevi and put a bug request on gitgrub! - you see this error or have you upgraded?
Thanks again!
The setup side of it works now(with morphine theme installed), but I get errors on the live look tab on publish page.
Severity: Notice Message: Undefined index: Nsm_live_look__meta Filename: content/publish.php Line Number: 136
Severity: Notice Message: Undefined index: Nsm_live_look__meta Filename: content/publish.php Line Number: 158
I’m running EE 2.0.2pb01 build 20100415
I’ve upgraded to v2.0.2pb02 - there’s no tab anymore! - This build takes a bit more control of the tabs you have displayed. Instead of deciding which tabs you want in a particular channel via the ‘Channel administration’ - you do this when you’re in ‘Edit’ mode - ie editing or adding a channel post - you click ‘Show Toolbar’ and select or deselect tabs or entries.
Anyway long story short - the optino for LIVE LOOK in now there!
I’ve emailed Leevi - the plug-in developer but to be honest i don’t think he’s interested!
