I installed NSM Better Meta 2.0 on my EE 2.0 site and I’m trying to get it to work right, but I cant figure out how to pull in the data for my site.
All my templates embed site/.global_header which includes everything for the <head> of my files. I’ve set it up this way to keep my templates uncluttered.
The embed tag is called before the {exp:channel:entries} is called, so I don’t see a way to get the {entry_id} for the current entry into the {exp:nsm_better_meta:template} tag.
Some of the pages on my site use the Pages module, some of them use the {url_title} for the entry they are outputting, and others just use the name of a template in the url, so there’s not an easy way to get the {url_title} for the current entry into the {exp:nsm_better_meta:template} tag.
Since the documentation says that either the {entry_id} or the {url_title} is required by the {exp:nsm_better_meta:template} tag, I don’t see a way that I could possibly use NSM Better Meta correctly.
Is there something I’m missing here? Is there a different way that I should have set up my templates?
