New Add-on: Flickr for EE

Just ran across this and I’m having trouble getting the authentication to work. I get to step 11 in the activation process and I’m given a blank page. Tried in Safari and Firefox. Any thoughts? I didn’t see anyone else in this thread mention this yet. Using EE1 version.

Hmmn. Sorry to be a PITA, but it still takes me to a blank screen. Checking permissions for apps on my Flickr account shows that this app has read permissions, so it looks like it worked, it just isn’t showing that in the CP.
So you’re not getting any sort of PHP errors?
No, I just get empty browser windows. It’s odd. The URL seems to hang and not move off to Flickr.
Do you get the blank screen when you click the Activate link?

I completely understand. When you click the Activate link it should take you to Flickr.com to authorize the app. You’ll get the screenshot you see in Step #12. Do you get that screen at any point?
Nope, I never see that Flickr page. Once clicked, the url starts changing like I’m going to be redirected to Flickr, but stops at the blank page and never leaves my domain.

Try to copy the Activate link and paste it into a new tab in your browser.

Does the first part of that URL point to your EE /system folder. Something like

Tried that several times as well, still get the blank page. I may tackle this later tonight by removing the extension and plugin, and the app at Flickr and just started from scratch.

Definitely give that a try and let me know how it goes.
Also, what host are you on? And do you have your /system directory installed above your root directory?
