The Flickr add-on is completely compatible with the ImgSizer plugin, so that’s always an option. You would simply pass ImgSizer the URL of the image from Flickr, and then set the size in the ImgSizer plugin. The image would then be cached on your server and pulled from there.
Unfortunately I don’t think its possible to use ImgSizer in Wygwam or the other wysiwyg editors. So I’ll have to look into some other options.

Getting ready to put out the v1 of Flickr for EE this week. I’ve created a temporary (rough) documentation page. The page will be redesigned in the next week weeks to make it much more pleasant on the eyes.
You can find the new documentation page here - http://digitalwaxworks.com/expressionengine/flickr/
Get it while it’s hot - v1.0 of Flickr for EE is now available!
The new version adds a few new template tags, easier installation, and best of all, fuller documentation. Documentation and download links have been updated in the first post in this thread, and below:
Documentation - http://digitalwaxworks.com/expressionengine/flickr
Download - http://digitalwaxworks.com/expressionengine/flickr/digitalwaxworks-flickr_v.1.0.0.zip
To give everyone a better idea of how to use it, here are some example code snippets:
{exp:flickr:photostream size="square"}
<a href="http://{flickr_url}">{flickr_img}</a>
{/exp:flickr:photostream}Displays your photostream as a row of square thumbnails which link to the photo’s page on Flickr
Displays a tag cloud where the size of the tag is proportional to the number of photos tagged with that particular tag
<a href="http://{flickr_field" title="{flickr_field:description}" class="thickbox">_ {flickr_field size=_</a>Open a larger view of the photo using Thickbox. The photo’s description will be used as the image caption. You would need to include the jQuery and Thickbox code in your header for this to work.
{ff_matrix}
<a href="http://{flickr_field">{flickr_field size=</a>
{/ff_matrix}Combined with FF Matrix, Flickr for EE makes it extremely easy to create a photo gallery. Simply create a FF Matrix with a single column containing a Flickr for EE field type.
I am helping build/redesign a music festival site. I found your thread while looking for a EE / Flickr tie-in.
In a sidebar, we want to have a flickr mosaic to entice people to visit our Flickr site so as to engage folks and create photo content / archives / promo material. Have not installed/used your add-on yet … but I’m about to try it. Thanks for being there right when I needed you most.

so far so good … we should be done our redesign shortly. I will send you a link or post one here once finished. I am no expert coder … you did a great job making the prefab displays - much appreciated.
Would there be a way to cycle through the photos being used?
For instance, I am pulling the most recent squares … what I am wondering if it would be possible to refresh some of the photos every minute - change them up?
I guess I could just use a combination of your goods and perhaps show “favourites” then switch to “most recent” etc… .
You have made my life easier - thanks. I am happy with the results as it stands. pz
Great, glad it worked well for you. I’m excited to see it in action on your site!
Not quite sure I understand your question. Do you want the photos to fade in and out? As in a new photo fades in every few seconds? If so I would look into one of the many jQuery Photo Gallery plugins. Flickr for EE should work with just about any jQuery photo gallery plugin you find and then you can do some cool effects with your photos like having them fade or slide in/out.

Flickr for EE2 is ready! Get it here - http://digitalwaxworks.com/expressionengine-2/flickr/
Awesome. I tried to install this, went through the Activation steps on Flickr as you documented so well, and after “Click to Activate” I get:
Fatal error: Class 'Net_URL' not found in /www/username/system/expressionengine/third_party/dww_flickr/libraries/HTTP/Request.php on line 402Edit to Add: Flickr says there is one authenticated user; but the Fieldtype doesn’t know it and doesn’t show the additional fields you get after Activating (as per your screenshot, that is).
Hi,
still using 1.6.* but here is a site that we posted making use of the Flickr for EE plugin:
http://www.riverandsky.ca.
I’m not a master site builder and had a few design collaborators to be sure. Stills needs a bit a cleaning up and validating but it was time to post the site anyway to coincide with some print marketing etc.
We used the plugin in the sidebar. Next I will try to delve into EE a bit more to get the flickr photos refreshing dynamically with the help of jquery.
Thanks - it was very easy to put your plugin to use.
