Forum Module rankings question

Hi,

I am trying to determine if it is possible to have a members rank be determined by a ratings system where users can rate each others content? The more votes a user receives for all of their postings would result in a higher members rank. I’ve searched the forms but have not found an answer to this. If anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated.
