Sorry for not updating that post again to clarify, I probably should have done. Consider me officially up to speed (or as near to it as I’m every likely to be).

On a positive note, whilst I was digging round for the cause of this problem I’ve got around to releasing the SAEF-friendly update that’s been due ever since 2.0.2 was released. If anyone’s been having SAEF redirect problems then grab the latest version from my server and everything should return to working as expected.

Can this been added as a feature request?? We don’t want EE 2.0 to be like WP with tons of free essential plugins that should just part of the core.

You’re welcome to make one, but I think the modular approach works quite well here. If you need that functionality, install the extension. If you don’t, well, then don’t. I for one consider this extensions nice, eg, but by no means essential. YMMV, of course. In which case, see above.
