LG Polls restricting access for guests

I’m trying to get LG Polls set up so that guests can answer the polls. However, I only get the message, “Sorry, You are restricted from voting in this poll.” This only happens when I embed the template containing the poll into another template. When I access the poll template directly, I can take the poll.

For example, if you view http://www.nnaweb.org/?/nnaweb/nnapoll01, you can view the poll, although it’s lacking the styles necessary to render it properly. If you view http://www.nnaweb.org/?/nnaweb/indextest01, however, you can see toward the bottom of the page the poll in a gray box, but guests are restricted from taking the poll.

I’ve checked the permissions on all the templates and polls involved, and they all are set so that guests should be able to take the poll.

Any suggestions?

I’ve determined something that may or may not be significant.

When I view the poll template directly, I can take the poll as a guest. When I attempt to view the poll on the website where I want it to appear, guests are restricted. In order to display the poll on the page, the poll template is embedded in the page template. Is there some reason embedding would affect who can access a poll?

Another interesting thing came from when I told the template to display the group ID for guests. To my surprise, the ID displayed was not that for the guests group, but rather that for superadmins. That has really added to my confusion.

Any help would be appreciated.

L.
