Plugin/template embed parse order

Hi - I’m wondering if it’s possible to pass the value from a plugin as a variable in a template embed - something like this:

{embed="my_template" variable="{exp:my_plugin:value}"}

I thought embeds were parsed right at the end, but perhaps they’re parsed before plugins?

Any ideas would be much appreciated!
