Brief narrative description of the issue at hand:
EE 1.6.8 32M PHP Mem
Yesterday, all was well. We could publish a new weblog entry to any of the listed weblogs, and we could view and edit existing entries without a problem. Now, something seems to be terribly wrong.
Our lead EE developer is out on medical leave this week so I am turning to the community for help.

Disabling the extension FieldFrame 1.3.5 once again allows us to post and edit existing posts, but it eliminated our ability to manage images effectively. If anyone wants to assist in the matter, shoot me a PM and we’ll discuss engaging you. Thank you again.

did you try to disable some addons (Playa or any other fieldFrame related fieldtype)?
I am afraid this does look like an Extension related issue. Let me move this thread for you.
