Really nice! Just this morning I was thinking how nice it would be to have an add-on that did exactly this. My clients will be thrilled to have this addition to their sites.

Thank you.

Note to all…

You can uninstall the Trackback module on the Modules tab which will stop the trackback column from showing on the Edit tab.

looks like a lovely extension… except i was getting the following error:

“Unable to load the following language file:

lang.edit_table_plus.php “

after a lot of head scratching it’s because you have mis-spelt language as the folder name, so when i FTP’d up the “extensions”, “langauge” and “lib” folders for the add-on, it wasn’t putting the above file in the correct place.

@moogaloo

Thanks for noticing. I’ll correct this when I have time.

Hey all,

I uploaded version 1.1.0. View the release notes to see whats new.

To those of you that where having problems with existing extension, I added a “client side” mode that alters the edit table purely with javascript, nothing server side. This option isn’t as snappy during the initial load and that’s why I left the server side processing in place. Let me know how the client side mode works out for you though.

Thanks for the extension.

Downloaded the zip and in there is the folder ‘extentions’ with the t which should be s (extensions).

I use the extension on a German language site. Trying to disable column “View” does not work. It disables the column in the table header but not the cells after the table header. It does when I switch my language to English.

Would be nice if the extension works according to the language setting.

EDIT: I changed line 188 and replace ‘View’ with ‘Ansehen’ which disabled the complete row. But I the extension would take in account the language setting that would be helpful.

Danke. I’ll add multilingual support in the next version. This is also the second time I have mislabeled a folder. I’ll get this right next time for sure.

Anybody else having trouble getting 1.1.0 up? I’m still stuck at 1.0.0. There was a typo in the Extension folder (“extention”) in the provided zip file, but I’ve correctly placed it back into the “extension” folder and nothing’s changing.

@Danny

I’m going to be uploading a minor release tonight or tomorrow that should fix a few issues.

Would actually be nice if this could also set the default search results # to be 150 on page load, but i don’t know if there’s any way to do that.

@Adrienne

I just figured out a way to do this while working on my current project. It will be in the next release.

What I’ll probably do is allow you to create a delimited list of search options, and you will define a default value.

Just noticed the new update breaking my CP Home page with CP Analytics installed with 1.1.0. When it’s disabled, it seems to load fine.
