I’m using LG Live Look with Publish Plus and every time I save the Live Look tab pops up. While I can see the benefit in this it’s actually a hindrance to me personally. Is there any way to change this?

No, not without tweaking LG’s extension code. Perhaps you can put in a feature request with him.
