LG Better Meta not working

I’m using LG Better Meta module, and am having problems overriding default values.
In my index template I have this:
{exp:lg_better_meta_pl:template robots_index="index"}Which is resulting in this:
<meta name='robots' content='noindex,follow,noarchive' />Why is the noindex showing up? I’ve cleared caches and still nothing. What’s up?
