The free External SAEF module lets you use a form to insert a row into any database table – whether into ExpressionEngine’s own or into any database to which you have administrator access.

Warning: If you are using this module to insert data into a database other than the EE installation’s own, do not make the form publicly visible, as it displays the target database user’s password in the HTML.

Downloading the module requires registering and being logged in at Engaging.net.
