Conflict between Publish Plus & User Authors

I’ve run across a bit of a conflict between Publish Plus and User Authors - when I try to use the search function in User Authors, it thinks I’m trying to save the entry. So instead of getting a list of authors to choose from, it refreshes the page.

Any ideas out there?
