KeyAds is a module for ExpressionEngine that allows you to display content to your visitors—like an ad or block of HTML code—based on keywords they enter in a search engine, or based on the referring domain.

Should be compatible with 2.x as well, though not thoroughly tested.

Instructions and more information can be found here:

http://www.crucialwebhost.com/blog/keyads-module-for-expressionengine/

And you can download the latest version of KeyAds here:

Thanks for the module 😊

It’s not compatible with 2.x - it needs to be rewritten to work with 2.x.

Crucial,

When you mean it can base its display on keywords of the site, do you mean keywords from the page or the site? Just wanted to clarify it because the docs seem to use the term site widely, but I figure it is based on the active page?

If I go to Google.com, and type in a set of keywords, and I click on a link from your site, the ad will display assuming it matches the keywords you’ve entered when you create an ad.

The other option is, if I come from a referring site, which can be anything (even Google.com), it will display a specific ad.

A prime example of the domain referral is the link in my first post:

You’ll see a yellow box at the top, that otherwise does NOT exist unless you come from expressionengine.com.

How do you think I should word that to make more sense?
